Dawid Scumwalski "Excoriating Dawn" by Vi a. Holy fuck, what a gem of a release. A plethora of sounds combined in a fully engrossing sonic collage. I absolutely adore this record and listened to it multiple times. It ranges from field recordings some kind of manipulated lo-fi sounds blended with excellent harsh noise. This is one of those releases which make me want to quit making noise/music. It's just too good.

Mish Furner great soundtrack to my ride home on tram 6027 route 11

Kian MacLeod on the 29th of April 1986 49,360 people were evacuated from Pripyat, having been told not to take anything with them, as they would be returning in a matter of weeks.
Due to the severity of the reactor 4 meltdown they never did return.
As the radiation has killed all the microbes in the area, the dead forests cannot decompose.
To this day the city lies empty, gradually degrading as tourists trample, and slowly destroy it.

On a mostly unrelated note, this record is fucking sick as hell. Favorite track: paresthesia.

Uboa I may of mixed, mastered and did cover art for the record but even if I didn't do those things vi did an incredible job with the vibe here. It's like a casual night stroll through Pripyat.
